A TV Show By and For Vette Owners

Have you ever wished there was some kind of T.V. show all about Corvettes that lived, ate and breathed the beautiful Chevrolet cars? Apparently there’s one in the works because there happens to be a very active fan page on Facebook about this exact topic. The show is due to begin in January of next year, not very long from now and at the beginning of a New Year. There are going to be unique cars with paint jobs that can’t be found anywhere else, like the one pictured above. There will be races, interviews and more, everything focusing on America’s favorite Chevrolet, the Corvette.

The show, titled Vette, has been in production for quite a while now and there are a total of 903 members on Facebook keeping a close eye on everything while the show is in the works. Thankfully the producers have afforded a short video clip highlighting their ideas and how the show will (probably) flow. Admittedly, the clip does have a kind of draw. Right from the beginning there is that powerful sound of a Corvette coming to life, a sound every Chevrolet fan knows well.

There are supposed to be interactive segments in the shows too, to keep people watching online interested and participating in the process. Above is just one example of the contests, questions and other points which will help make Vette a more interesting show to watch. They seem to have the right formula for something people will want to watch, and with additions like this to supplement the fresh, weekly footage Vette looks to have a good chance of succeeding. At least they are getting a lot for the relatively low costs of production on this show.

There are other things which will come up on episodes, unexpected occurrences and more. On Vette, it’s going to be real drivers, not paid actors or super professional people, just the men and women who own and love their Corvettes. It seems like the odds of one of them getting pulled over would be pretty good, especially while they’re trying to show off how well a Corvette is made, how fast it can go or how quickly it can get to top speed.

With so many impressive things to be showcased, people could get into a lot of trouble just showing off their cars on Vette. Hopefully nothing too serious happens, or else the young show might be pulled before it has time to really develop a fan base. Imagine how things would be if Corvettes got cut back in the 1950s, like some people at Chevrolet had hoped to make happen.
